Job Summary:
The Interior Design Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the interior design team in executing various projects related to interior design. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines. The Interior Design Coordinator will work closely with the design team, clients, and vendors to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the interior design team in the execution of interior design projects from conception to completion.
2. Coordinate and manage project schedules, ensuring all tasks and deliverables are completed on time.
3. Collaborate with the design team to develop and implement design concepts, layouts, and specifications.
4. Source and select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories based on project requirements and budget.
5. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design plans, drawings, and specifications.
6. Communicate and liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure smooth project progress.
7. Coordinate site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to design plans and specifications.
8. Assist in the selection and coordination of subcontractors and external service providers.
9. Manage and track project budgets, expenses, and invoices.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and design techniques to contribute to the continuous improvement of projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
2. Proven experience in interior design coordination or related roles.
3. Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar.
4. Strong knowledge of interior design principles, materials, and finishes.
5. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
